A prestigious and prominent NHS membership body are looking for a new Head of IT Architecture to join their team. A focal point for organisational change, you will also be responsible for conducting complex requirements analysis at all stages and influencing important business decisions via effective stakeholder communication.

This is a senior role, imperative to the future of the organisation, which will offer you the chance to work closely with individuals at all levels, including 3rd party partners and internal and external stakeholders, in directing the future of IT-related matters within the organisation.

ResponsibilitiesWork closely with business stakeholders and third party partners, providing input into emerging requirement assessments, identifying likely resource requirements and solution options that align to Digital TransformationEnsure Digital Transformation governance is maintained through the activities of the Strategic Design Authority Board, which provides architectural and security assurance of IT-enabled projectsReview new and existing program/project architecture for compliance with IT standards, policies and architectural plansEnsure that when replacing existing systems/workloads or acquiring new ones, the College uses a “Cloud first” approachQualifications/experience requiredA computer-related Bachelor’s Degree (e.g. Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering) or equivalent professional qualification(s)A minimum of three years in software design and system interoperability including good understanding of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), Web Services, WCF, Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) integration architecture and other related technologiesA minimum of five years in full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).Minimum of ten years of experience in relevant senior IT rolesHighly proficient in MS VisioWhat’s on offer?You will be a key part of organisational change within a prestigious membership body, earning a salary of £60,000, working in a beautiful central London locale.
