Data & Pricing Analyst
You will report directly to the Assistant Director
We have an excellent opportunity for a bright and keen Data & Pricing Analyst to join our team at our modern offices based in Woodford Green, Essex.
Our ideal Data & Pricing Analyst must be highly IT literate, with great attention to detail, clear logical communication and a steady manner to support our Directors, Sales and Purchasing teams. The candidate MUST be comfortable with numbers and spreadsheets, able to identify errors and manage relationships with individuals providing data.
Pricing is a critical part of the business. Advanced level MS Excel skills are a must as you will be responsible for all Internal Sales, Purchase, Product and Price data analysis using VLOOKUP, IF commands and Pivot Tables.
Key Skills/experience·Advanced level MS Excel skills.·Relevant Computer Science Graduate Preferred. ·Previous experience in a similar role an advantage.·Strong analytical skills with a reasonable level of report writing capabilities.·High attention to detail, speed and accuracy is essential.·Fast learner and able to meet deadlines.·Ability to work on own initiative to diagnose and resolve problems.·Proven ability to communicate to Senior Managers.·Strong administrative and organisational skills·Independent, able to work effectively without close supervision·Committed and reliable·A pro-active attitude and a willingness to work collaboratively on future business projects.·Strong interpersonal skills, ability to form and maintain relationships with people on all levels·Website, Internet and digital trading experience an advantage. ·Advanced knowledge of Windows Office and Microsoft Outlook.
Key responsibilities·Routine and Daily pricing data analysis from multiple data sources.·Prior to Supplier Data Imports – analysis of advanced data and communication of findings.·Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly and Yearly Supplier data imports.·Back Office System - ongoing Product and Image Maintenance. ·Back Office System – Sales Lead imports and Customer Account Maintenance.·Provide reporting from our internal Back office & from specialist reporting software.·Provide internal IT support to staff via telephone and face to face.·Diagnose and resolve IT issues -hardware, software, communication and on ‘the cloud’·Report and track faults through external vendor support portals.·Liaise with our hardware support vendor to build new PC’s and set up new users. (windows, outlook, internal network folders, back office, anti- virus)·Liaise with our Domain, Web hosting and hi speed internet providers. ·Liaise with our Web site and online ordering developers.
