Page Personnel are working in partnership with a leading SME for an experienced senior purchase ledger to join a busy accountancy team based in the Warrington area. You will be performing all aspect required of a senior purchase ledger reporting to the financial controller and purchase ledger supervisor.

Client Details

This is an established SME company who are a leading national organisation in the telecommunication industry.


The successful senior purchase ledger will have the following duties;

  • Managing allocated suppliers
  • Matching, Batching and Coding of invoices
  • Managing new supplier details
  • Working within a team of 3 and supporting annual leave
  • Ensuring that the VAT/CIS element of the invoice is correctly recorded.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with suppliers
  • Supplier reconciliations
  • Credit card statements
  • Expenses Payments
  • Assisting the management accountants in month end closing procedure
  • Working on Navision system
  • To assist in a process improvement project


The successful senior purchase ledger will have the following;

  • Must have experience as a purchase ledger, candidates without experience will not be considered
  • Able to process a full purchase ledger
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Able to work well under pressure to high volume
  • Experience using Navision system
