Our client is a large manufacturer within the Renfrewshire area. An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Payroll Analyst.

The Role
To manage the modified payrolls and related processes for all expat employees, inbound and outbound, for companies based in UK and also provide support to the UK payrolls

Key Responsibilities:

* Complete responsibility for the payment of monthly guaranteed net payments to all inbound and outbound expats
* Prepare spreadsheets as required for new expats and annual salary increases detailing hypothetical tax and NI calculations
* Produce gross to net calculations for salary and bonus purposes
* Attend relevant meetings with the company's tax advisors
* Prepare all information required by the tax advisors to allow them to prepare expats tax returns and provide advice on any specific cases
* Prepare applications and renewals for A1 certificates
* Identify ex-pats where class 2A NIC payments will be made and arrange payments
*Assist HRD with the printing and distribution of the expat contracts, salary and bonus letters
* Prepare reports for validation and authorisation of the payroll
* Produce salary analysis and other reports as required
* Deal with written and telephone enquiries from the HMRC employees, HR, Line Managers, Finance and other affiliates
* Assist in preparation of P11Ds, P60s, P85s
* Assist with the processing of the monthly UK payroll , tasks and responsibilities to be decided by payroll manager
* Contribute to the development of Payroll System and Payroll policies, processes and procedures

Key Skills & Experience Required:

* Ideally 5 years of expat and UK payroll legislation essential
* Good working knowledge of computerised payroll systems essential
* Peoplesoft payroll system knowledge desirable but not essential
* Good working knowledge of legislation and rules relating to PAYE, NI, SSP, SMP, Court Orders, Student Loans etc
* Must have ability to work under pressure, prioritise work and use initiative
* Good Excel and Word skills
* Good Numerical skills
* Ability to communicate at all levels
