Main Role

*To assist and carry out insurance administration as required for both in and/or out bound client contact

*To provide day to day servicing and administration of client insurance requirements in a timely, technically accurate and cost effective manner in accordance with the principles of Treating Customer Fairly and providing fair customer outcomes

*To sort and distribute emails via live inbox management in accordance with department guidelines

*To provide support to the underwriters and the Team Leader in order to achieve departmental objectives and service standards

Core Competencies

*Experience within an Insurance Company supporting department processing and administration functions

*Ability to successfully work as part of a team and support others

Principal Responsibilities

*To provide compliant administrative services to brokers confining advice and information to those areas in which the job holder is deemed competent, otherwise seeking advice as appropriate

*To process correspondence and computer inputting as applicable to the role

*To ensure post and diary activity is processed and completed in line with the local procedures and internal service standards

*To assist team performance by regular communication with underwriters and team leaders to establish and raise concerns, including providing solutions, promoting and adhering to treating customers fairly at all times

*To undertake training in line with agreed objectives and keep up to date technical, legal and market developments via use of e-learning, internal training and reading market related material. Ensure that this is recorded in line with Training and Competency requirements

*To ensure adherence to all group procedures and policies in relation to the identification and management of potential conflicts of interest and fair treatment of customers and follow operating systems and controls to ensure this is the case

*To undertake any task in order to support the administration function of the unit, as required, adhering to regulatory requirements and information security requirements

*To ensure that any customer complaints are identified and handled strictly within the company’s complaints procedure

*Support the Operations Manager / Team Leader with any requests to meet departmental objectives, as required.
