Powwow are recruiting for a Junior C# Developer for our industry leading client based in Barton-Upon-Humber. As a Junior C# Developer, you will be working with the development team with the building and designing of applications responsible for the programming for both back and front-end services.

The key responsibilities within this role include:

  • Collaborating with 3D artists, incorporating new models, textures, mapping etc. into the application
  • Implementing games functionality; translating design ideas, conceptions and specification requirements into a function and engaging programme
  • Working with the development team to further enhance the VR experience for users
  • Consistently committing to the collaborative process of problem solving, creating sophisticated design and producing quality product is essential
  • Working with the team to minimise any bugs/glitches associated with code changes, advising and working with the team to future proof the 3D application once development is complete
  • Working with the JavaScript development team to establish effective pipeline and media assets between both 2D and 3D platforms
  • Understand and implement technical requirements for both the in-house team and customer base

Experience and Skills required:

  • Minimum 1 years’ experience developing and maintaining C# applications
  • Strong understanding of Unity3D software
  • Experience using Agile methodology applications including Scrum
  • Understanding of co-routines and asynchronous programming
  • Must be initiative and actively keep up-to-date with the latest technology

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

  • Degree level education or equivalent in computer science or games development
  • Working understanding of 3D modelling software and photo-realistic rendering
  • Experience using JavaScript API WebGL and other JavaScript software
