IT Infrastructure Support/ Security Engineer

The Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Infrastructure Support/ Security Engineer to join our IT team based within our Stapeley office, Nantwich.

The ideal candidate will provide a high level of infrastructure hardware/support. A good level of IT Infrastructure knowledge and experience is essential as the primary responsibility of the position is to provide a high level of support to internal users and other team members. Project implementation and management experience is also essential as the position will involve the delivery of IT projects in a technical lead or project management capacity.

A minimum of 5 years of experience with IT Infrastructure core technologies including, Linux (RHEL, CentOs), Widows Server 2008/2012, Active Directory, and IT Security. Additionally, knowledge and/or experience with these technologies would be preferred:

The Candidate

    The ability to operate effectively as part of a Global Technical Team and articulate technical knowledge to people. The successful candidate should poses excellent technical documentation skills, the ability to liaise and negotiate with 3rd party vendors, build relationships, engage with colleagues at all levels, and have a methodical approach with a calm disposition in a high pressured environment. Project planning and prioritizing skills will be advantageous. The ability to operate effectively as part of a global technical team and in support of a remote data center and offices will ensure success.
