We can?t do this without you, so we?re looking for a Nursery Practitioner who shares our values to join our friendly team at our nursery in Farnborough IQ. You will be genuinely interested in a career in child care and have the passion and enthusiasm to deliver outstanding child care by complementing our existing team of child care practitioners.


About our Farnborough IQ Nursery

Busy Bees at Farnborough Q is situated on the IQ Business Park just a short walk from the town centre. The nursery is a converted building over two floors benefitting from bright spacious airy rooms. Within the nursery we offer four base rooms with separate rooms for our younger babies, toddlers, and two to three year olds, and we also offer a large Pre-school room for our over threes. We are very pleased to offer a newly refurbished garden that the children, parents and staff are extremely excited about, with sensory areas, digging, planting, balancing, texture exploration and quiet areas.

We have a fully equipped kitchen on site where our very experienced chef?prepares nutritious meals and snacks for the children, working to a balanced healthy menu. As well as the chef many of our staff are long standing in the nursery with a variety of experiences and backgrounds, and we pride ourselves on a strong motivated team. Our senior staff are well trained achieving Foundation Degrees in Childhood Studies leading them to be excellent role models and mentors.


Key responsibilities:?

Deliver rich learning opportunities and exceptional care that helps young children to develop

Plan and provide effective care, teaching and learning that enables children to progress and prepares them for school?

Safeguard and promote the health, safety and welfare of children

Work in partnership with colleagues, parents and/or carers or other professionals to meet the individual needs of the children?

Make accurate and effective use of assessment reflecting the needs, interests and stages of development of the individual children.

You need:

Experience within a private day nursery (Desirable)

A willingness to undertake relevant childcare qualifications in the future (Desirable)

A passion for child care and a genuine interest in child development
