Education and Leisure Information Officer

The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents is the UK’s leading family safety charity, with a mission to reduce serious accidental injuries through the exchange of life-enhancing skills and knowledge. We have been at the heart of accident prevention in the UK and around the world for 100 years and have recently celebrated our centenary year.

We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join RoSPA’s Consultancy department to provide support to the team. This support will involve facilitating, administering and quality control of the delivery of commercial services and safety information. Key responsibilities in this role will include assisting the public with safety questions, developing safety policies, answering membership questions, identifying and developing commercial leads, assisting with project proposals, maintaining accurate contact databases, preparing and reviewing consultancy reports, documentation and helping with awards.

The successful person will act as a principle point of contact for members of the public, members, customers and clients. The post holder will have the opportunity to get involved in policy development, RoSPA National Committees and other RoSPA projects.

The ideal candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, be computer literate and experience of office procedures and administration in a safety orientated, high profile role. Specific safety management experience is very desirable, particularly in Education or Leisure environments
