A Finance Manager opportunity has arisen at this established and market leading Waste Management / Recycling business. Accredited as environmentally compliant, they are leaders in their field offering several solutions from car scrappage to container hire.

The Finance Manager is responsible for ensuring the effective and efficient day to day management of the Finance function and the finance team.

Key responsibilities are contribution of Finance to the wider Business; adding value to the business through the management of the P&L, Balance sheet & month end process, development & management of financial systems, process control & improvement and supporting cross function work throughout the business .

To assist and support the Finance Director to ensure the overall effective financial management and reporting for the Company and actively contribute towards the financial planning and strategic growth of the Company as a key member of the Management Team.

To ensure the accuracy of financial and operational reporting & analysis and to provide management information to assist the achievement of agreed business objectives.

Finance Manager will be expected to:

1. Assist the FD in the execution of their role.
2. Day to day management of finance processes and functions
3. Manage and develop the finance team
4. Production of month end accounts and managing the month end process
5. Produce LOB (Line of Business), Operational and KPI reporting
6. Preparation of annual budgets and KPI’s with LOB Managers and other stakeholders.
7. Implementation of finance process review and continuous improvement
8. Capex appraisals (pre & post)
9. Assist with HP Finance processes. Raising finance, obtaining quotes etc
10. Assist with the year end audit
11. Assist with cashflow forecasting
12. Assisting with foreign exchange processes.

You must be ACCA / CIMA Qualified with 5 years experience at Finance Manager level within an SME sized organisation within the Commercial Sector
