Finance Manager: Three Companies 4+1 Days

Unique opportunity to stay fresh, and experience life in 3 separate companies.Three companies, one owner, all completely different industries. Yes, they will grow and you will have the option to grow and end up selecting one company.

A leading-edge ice design / delivery company, a disruptive startup company in the water industry and a Design/Tech company with an office in Poland and London.4 days per week needed within the ice company, and 1 day per week across the other 2 companies with the water company being a seed/start up.

We are currently recruiting an Finance Manager and we require a smiley positive individual with ambition to expand their business management knowledge and working experience of all aspects of the business finance function.

As part of a small management team you will be included in all aspects of the business finance function and will regularly be required to work on your own and self – motivate.

As the Finance Manager, your duties will include:

·General Financial Administration

·Exporting sales invoices from bespoke sales system to Sage

·Allocating receipts / Handling cash from COD deliveries and cash reconciliation

·Processing purchase invoices matching with purchase orders

·Credit control / Supplier payments and reconciliation – query handling

·Processing staff HR, monthly payroll

·Analysis of expenses and reconciliation to credit card statement

·Preparation and submission of VAT returns

·Support finance in production of rolling cash flows and monthly management accounts

·Provide administration support to finance function

Extra Depending on experience:

·Assisting/Complete the preparation of the management accounts

·Assisting/Complete the preparation of the Yearly Budget

·Company Human Resource Management with department managers

An ideal candidate should hold the following skills, experience and attitude:

·Previous accounts payable and receivable experience or alternatively bookkeeping experience is essential within the United Kingdom – MINIMUM 5 years

·Minimum: working towards or possession of any level of AAT or equivalent work experience

·Knowledge of Sage would be an advantage although not essential

·Excellent Word and Excel skills - Attention to detail is essential - Clear confident telephone manner, written and spoken English must be at a high level

·Written and spoken Polish an advantage

·Can do attitude with ability to work under pressure

·Caring – Thoughtful – Forgiving – Understanding – Confident – Firm – Calm

Fulltime position – Monday to Friday, 9:00 – 17:30.Salary £30,000 - £35,000 depending on experience, plus additional benefits. This is an opportunity to develop your career, but this all depends on your attitude, ability to learn and value-added skills.
