I am looking for a Senior C# Developer with experience working with back end .NET to join a passionate team and craft software that will not only be ground-breaking within the market but lead the growing tech market within the manufacturing and retail industries. My client is at the forefront of one of the most innovative industries around and as a Senior C# Developer you'll help to build a new software platform to support their ambitious tech-driven future.

Your primary responsibilities will be to design and develop C# applications, and to coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and quality product is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborating with the 3D design team to incorporate new models, textures, mapping, lighting etc. into the application
  • Actively collaborating with JavaScript developers to ensure smooth integration
  • Develop anf implement game-like functionality; translating design ideas, concepts, and requirements into a functional and engaging programme
  • The building, running and maintenance of platforms designed on Unity framework
  • Playing a key role within the Agile software development team to ensure both 3D and CAD experiences run efficiently
  • Delivering changes to software where required
  • Actively seeking any flaws in design which could create bugs/glitches within the systems and working with the team to minimise such flaws associated with code changes to future proof the application
  • Breaking down and running code through unit testing programmes to ensure the functionality is as expected and required for a smooth user-end experience
  • Understand and implement complex technical requirements
  • The training and development of junior members of the team
  • Liaising with stakeholders and team members

Experience and skills required:

  • Minimum 4 years’ experience developing and maintaining C# applications
  • Thorough understanding of Unity3D software
  • Proven experience using Agile methodologies, preferably Scrum software development process
  • Proficient understanding of 3D modelling
  • Fully proficient understanding of vector maths and the running of complex algorithms
  • Proficient understanding of JavaScript software
  • Excellent communication skills due to the need to be able to communication technical ideas to a non-technical audience
  • Experience using Vray for 3D modelling and photo-realistic rendering
  • Proven track record of working to expected company standard while in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Strong understanding of .NET framework
  • Strong understanding of OO PHP software
  • Ability to write and develop reusable PHP modules
  • General understanding of CLR
  • Excellent understanding of code versioning tools incl. GIT

Desired qualifications:

  • Degree level or equivalent in computer science or games development equivalent
