The school are looking to support a bright and experienced graduate through teacher training. The Trainee Chemistry Teacher will have a minimum of a 2:1 science degree which is supported by strong A-level’s and GCSE’s.
For this program, the graduate will benefit from having some capacity of experience in an academic environment supporting pupils.
The school are a secondary comprehensive based in Sutton, South West London. They are a top training school that can see a graduate train into an amazing chemistry teacher!
The Trainee Chemistry Teacher will undertake a two-year Teacher Training Course in conjunction with the University of Buckingham.
•The first term will be in a classroom support role to give you an understanding of the school and the role.
•If accepted onto the program, the second and third term will include a minimum of a 50% teaching timetable.
·Undergo assessment and observations before gaining PGCE and QTS.
•The second year will see you teaching an 80% timetable.
