Well known 3PL seeks Stock & Systems Manager, Andover, to £35k plus benefits

Your new role
In this position you will manage an efficient stock control function for a dedicated client. You will work closely with the Operations Manager, Warehouse Manager and Supervisors, to ensure that all Stock related processes are reviewed and adhered to. You will also interact with the customer to resolve any queries, and be an integral part of the leadership team.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have experience of a similar stock control position within a Distribution Centre (ideally Retail, but any high sku / fast moving distribution environment is relevant). You will understand best practice within a DC particularly relating to Stock Integrity, and be able to work with the Goods In and other function to ensure success in this area. You will be familiar with Perpetual Inventory (PI) / Cycle Counting, and be accustomed to managing a small team (or coordinating staff even if you have not had direct team management experience previously). You will have good IT skills (ideally including Excel and a recognised Warehouse Management System eg JDA), and be a confident communicator with sound understanding of H&S.
