I am currently working on an exciting project for an automotive manufacturer who is looking for a Product Manager to join their team.
You will be responsible for determining the optimum product strategy and line-up for all relevant models, both current and future.
Responsibilities Include:·Define product and price positioning for relevant products·Define the product specification and mix for all affected products and communicate this to internal staff, dealers and relevant agencies·Regularly assess relevant products’ pricing, specification and offers against competitor performance Develop standing reporting on affected products and relevant competitors on segment, sales channels, registrations, offers, version mixes, engine mixes etc.·Support the Marketing Manager in managing local new product Launch ·Work with sales & finance colleagues to prepare margin, discount structure and quarterly offers for relevant ·Work with the Brand Communications Manager to brief ATL and BTL on relevant
The successful candidate must have the following skills/knowledge:·Experience in all areas of product management within the automotive sector including pricing and market analysis ·Able to work independently of others and use initiative ·Strong interpersonal skills required to manage relationships with colleagues ·Strong attention to detail·Ability to respond and adapt to new challenges on a daily basis ·Extremely proficient in Excel including use of pivots.·Competent in other Microsoft Office applications ·Knowledge of other computer applications such as MTab and Jato would be beneficial
