Autism Outreach Qualified Teacher

This is an exciting and diverse role with a lot of freedom to incorporate your own ideas as a team within the London Borough of Newham are currently seeking a teacher experienced working with autistic children to work through various mainstream schools.
Your role is to go from school to school within the borough and adapt the working environment and tasks to the needs of the children who are on the Autistic Spectrum. You are required to check in on a weekly basis to ensure their regime it being sustained, helping them progress to their highest potential within a mainstream setting.
You will be working from a base at a primary school in East Ham with all the resources and facilities you need to produce the materials you need.
We are looking for someone with;
* Experience within an SEN school
* Significant experience of pupils with Autism including the more complex, low functioning young people with Autism and have a confident grasp of a range of specialist approaches and how to facilitate this in a mainstream setting.
* Knowledge of SCERTS
* Must hold a full QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
* Enhanced DBS
