This person will be supporting all of the Category Managers across the Retail Team, primarily co-ordinating the promotional process and owning data management for all categories. There is also a fantastic opportunity to support on project work

Main responsibilities

As Category Assistant, you will provide support to all of the Category Managers across the Retail Team, primarily co-coordinating the promotional process and owning data management for all categories. You will lead and manage the promotions process, ensuring that this is completed and recorded correctly. You will provide reports and analysis to the Category Manager to help understand business opportunities, managing our systems and tools to ensure we have accurate and up to date information is held for the business.

Ideal candidate

To be right for this role, you will have excellent communications skills with a keen eye for detail. You will be commercially aware and possess a positive, can-do attitude with the ability to influence both internal and external stakeholders. You will have the ability to manage tasks from start to finish and be able to prioritise your time accordingly. It is essential to be computer literate and able to learn various software programs. The ideal candidate will have some exposure to procurement or buying, though this is not essential.
