- A background in Advertising, Media, Publishing or Events
- Minimum of two years’ experience within the events industry

Due to their continued success and growth an exceptional opportunity has arisen for a talented Events & Marketing Sales Executive to join this highly successful team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a hardworking, ambitious, driven individual with previous B2B sales experience who excels at conducting sales over the phone, who is not shy in coming forward, thrives in building their own sales portfolio, and who wants to work within an ambitious commercial environment for a Publishing and Events company.

Events and Marketing Sales Executive:

- Minimum of two years’ experience within the events industry
- Previous B2B or Media sales experience
- Able to work on own initiative and a constant achiever
- Confident in selling to senior managers, directors and C- level individuals
- Creative and always looking for opportunities to exceed targets
- Good negotiation skills with experience at handling call conversions
- Excellent communication skills
- A team player who is willing and able to thrive in a creative commercial environment

Events and Marketing Sales Executive Key Responsibilities:

- Proactively manage and sell a number of events across the organisations’ global awards and conferences for their publications
- Support the sales and marketing team in driving attendance across the events programme, identifying potential leads with Marketing and upsell opportunities
- Provide clear reporting, converting new leads and enquiries
- Build long term relationships with key accounts, recognising clear commercial opportunities across their programme of events and publications
- Increase client engagements and commercial opportunities, handling all enquiries through strong sales skills to attract new subscribers and attendees across our publications and events
- Provide a professional level of customer service through handling of initial enquires to confirmation of booking and payment
- Support and assist with the administration of subscriptions across the publications
- Attend events where required to network and build customer loyalty
