The role we're recruiting for;

The E-commerce team have a vacancy for a multichannel analyst, this is a fantastic opportunity for someone with an interest in E-commerce to be part of a growing, fast paced environment. To analyse and track performance of the Wickes multichannel business and provide actionable insight to help improve the sales, profit and customer experience of the overall business.

Principle Accountabilities

Identify areas of activity and trends and provide analysis and actionable insight which are likely to result in an improvement in performance and conversion rate.

This will include analysis of areas such as traffic, conversion, customer behaviour and competitor analysis and using this data to provide recommendations for multi variant testing campaigns.

To gather requirements from different teams and develop a reporting framework to show the results from the multi channel sales initiatives and to gain an understanding of their impact on the non store retail business.

Provide analysis to support other areas such as catalogue, digital marketing and telephone sales teams for cross channel analysis, and act as the ambassador for web and mobile analysis and insight across all areas of the business.

Keeping abreast of technology developments and new insight tools to ensure we are evaluating new opportunities to collect data and insight.

What are we looking for?

You will have a passion for data and be keen to make your mark within a fast growing are of the business. Ideally with previous experience of interpreting sales and performance data, you will have developed strong analytical skills and be comfortable using various systems and databases. Preferably with experience of using Google Analytics or another web analytics tool.

This role will involve using large sets of data, this will require someone with experience of developing reporting frameworks and a good eye for detail.
