This is a rare opportunity to join a hugely exciting Global business which is focused entirely on the marketing and events industry within the travel sector. The company's portfolio includes high profile international events, media and online businesses. The company organises and operates world-renowned events across the globe. We are now looking for a new Content Marketing Manager to plan, develop and implement PR and content strategies for the global Events in line with the strategic objectives of the business

·Execute, develop and implement a robust PR and communications plan for two main brands.

·Ensure all activity is customer focused, is delivered as part of an integrated channel approach (online, offline, live),

·Ensure effective management of the PR agency ensuring their work is optimised at all times.

·Take the lead and execute all of the main global events PR communication activities (online, offline and live)

·Ensure all PR and communications activity is customer/industry insight, and data driven at all times.

·Ensure all PR and communications campaign activity is accurate, (detailed plan updated), communicated, measured and tracked on a weekly basis and communicated with internal and external key stakeholders.

·Evaluate customer research, market conditions, industry trends, competitor data and implement plan alterations as required.

·Work alongside the content team on the delivery of the content plan and strategy specifically

oWorking with external contributors, industry experts, media partners and hosts

oMaximising content opportunities across all potential platforms

oUnderstand our key persona groups and get to know the content types and messaging required to engage with these groups

oTake the lead role in ensuring that effective content distribution plans are put in place for all key content pieces

oBe ready to jump on news as it happens

ocopy for the email newsletters and website articles where appropriate

Main Responsibilities

·Previous experience of working in a PR and/or communications role

·PR Manager, Content Manager, Marketing Communications or Marketing Manager background OR

·Senior Marketing or PR Executive looking to take the next step

·Solid understanding of media relations – ability to “sell in” news and stories where appropriate

·Previous experience in creating or commissioning content marketing pieces

·Excellent copywriting skills across online and offline channels

·Research skills for sourcing relevant content from audiences, insight, networks and industry

·Aptitude for analytics

·Confidence to build and maintain key relationships with the market eg – associations, partners, media, attendees, hosts

·Some Knowledge/experience of PPC, social media marketing and SEO

·Experience of using web analytics to understand success of content and PR initiatives

·Flexibility to change priorities as and when needed

·Calm under pressure

·Works well within a team

·Able to manage communications for multiple stakeholders
