Purchase Ledger Assistant
My client is a dynamic and innovative organisation that provide specialist support to young people and their families when they are diagnosed with life threatening illness. They have seen huge growth over the last couple of years and have a number of exciting projects and new partnerships. As the Finance team approach year end, they are looking to bring in some extra support for 4-6 weeks.
- To process invoice payments and staff and volunteer expense payments.
- To liaise with suppliers and internal customers to ensure that invoices and expense claims are paid in a timely manner.
- To maintain accurate records of supplier balances on both the accounting system (SUN) and the linked invoice payment system (IPOS).
- To respond to purchase ledger queries, from both suppliers and internal consumers in a timely, professional manner.
The successful candidate will be a graduate in accounting and finance and ideally have experience in the duties above. Experience of SUN systems and IPOS would be desirable but most importantly, they must be a fast learner, with strong communcation skills and excellent work ethic to support them through this busy period.
