Supplying internal and external customers application specific integrated circuits (ASICs). They are the world’s number one supplier of TPMS sensor ASICs. Our Client designs, manufactures and supplies electronic solutions and MEMS sensors that are critical to current and future product lines.

Job Description

You will be managing ASIC New Product Development (NPD) Programs, Project and Product Managers for our automotive and industrial sensing customers. You will provide the focal point and manage our internal organization. In this role you will be the link between all disciplines involved in programs with our internal and external customers, our suppliers, manufacturing, supply chain, purchasing and subcontractors. You will be expected to manage both technical, program and commercial topics. With your strong Automotive background, you will be expected to help develop other projects, products and Program Managers.

You will be responsible for planning, organization and flawless execution of projects and delivering an important contribution to the success of our business.

Reporting to the General Manager, you will be working within a global team and you will work on highly visible projects and manage our business of the future.

What are your tasks and responsibilities?

  • Program management for new product launches of significant importance to the business.

  • Managing ASIC product, program and Project Managers (PMs).

  • Supporting PMs with the critical path of their projects and ensuring there is effective risk assessments and contingency planning throughout activities.

  • Training PMs less familiar with Automotive needs.

  • Organization, planning and leading international project teams.

  • Managing the execution of the projects on time, on cost, on quality.

  • Set up proposals for additional (organizational) actions to Department Management to prevent possible delay in execution of plans.

  • Understanding Customer requirements and expectations, and developing/driving actions and schedules needed to support them.

  • Interacting frequently with our Customers and functional management levels.

  • Achieving results in support of business goals in a matrixed, team oriented, global environment; working with global cross-functional teams consisting of engineering, quality, marketing, sales, customer service and operations.

What is your background?

  • At least a Bachelor’s Degree, technical or commercial background in an Automotive component supplier.

  • Experience of working in the Semiconductor Industry.

  • Significant experience as a Program Manager and direct interaction with automotive customers.

  • You have leadership qualities and experience with managing and coaching professionals, you are result-oriented, excellent planning and organizing skills and Customer oriented.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
