A business with solid roots in a number of industries is going through a time of expansion and is partnering closely with DB Charles Recruitment to hire a new permanent Social Media Executive to join the marketing department at the offices based in Harrow.

The business has a long standing track record of success dating to their start out in the 1970's and the company specialises in providing a number of support services to certain industries.

The companies sectors and specialisms fall over a number of different areas including some of the below:

  • Logistics
  • Security
  • Waste management
  • Operative personnel supply
  • Plus others

For this position as a Social Media Executive, it is looking for someone to come on board and be a part of a current team of 4 in the department however current growth is looking for the department to grow to 6 consisting of a:

  • Marketing Director
  • Marketing Manager
  • Senior Graphic Designer
  • Graphic Designer
  • Advertising Executive
  • Events Coordinator

The current marketing channels being utilised are:

  • Social media
  • Print
  • Online marketing
  • Email marketing

Day to day duties will involve:

  • Creating marketing and social media campaigns and strategies, including budget planning, content ideation and implementation schedules
  • Ensuring brand consistency in marketing and social media messages by working with various company department members, including advertising, product development and brand management
  • Providing training and guidance to social media and marketing team members on social media implementation best practices and strategies
  • Collecting customer data and analysing interactions and visits, plus using the information to create comprehensive reports and improve future marketing strategies and campaigns
  • Reporting progress to senior marketing management
  • Growing and expanding company social media presence into new social media platforms, plus increasing presence on existing platforms including Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and Instagram
  • Researching and monitoring activity of company competitors
  • Creating and distributing engaging written or graphic content in the form of e-newsletters, web pages, blog content and social media messages.

For this position, the role requires candidates with the following aspects:

  • A previous working background within Social Media
  • A background within the Construction or Recruitment industry advantageous however not essential
  • Experience working with Hootsuite
  • Strong presentation & communication skills
  • Strong content writing skills
  • An education background supporting towards social media / advertising / marketing
  • Proven working experience in social media marketing or as a digital media specialist
  • Excellent consulting, writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation and communication skills
  • Demonstrable social networking experience and social analytics tools knowledge
  • Adequate knowledge of web design, web development, CRO and SEO
  • Knowledge of online marketing and good understanding of major marketing channels
  • Positive attitude, detail and customer oriented with good multitasking and organisational ability

The role will be working Monday to Friday with working hours of 8:00am to 5:00pm and the client is looking to offer a salary dependent on experience of between £20,000K to £25,000K plus additional benefits on offer such as:
