This leading FMCG company are currently looking for a reliable and hard-working individual to join their office in Brackley as an Accounts Payable Clerk. This is a great chance to work for a globally recognised brand, with training being provided on the basis this is an entry level position however ideally you will have experience of invoice processing and good use of excel for this 6 month contract role

With a high level of excellence in everything they do, no matter how big or small, they pride themselves on the details and are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk with the same attitude and level or diligence in their work.


As an Accounts Payable Clerk, your key responsibilities will be:

  • Managing complex invoice queries
  • processing the payment run either by BACS or CHAPS
  • matching, batching and coding complex, multi site and multicurrency invoices
  • producing an Aged Creditor Report
  • Business partnering with managers and suppliers
  • ad hoc excel spreadsheet work


The ideal Accounts Payable Clerk will:

  • Be immediately available to start on a temporary to permanent basis and able to commit to 6 months ideally
  • Have strong attention to detail
  • Experienced dealing with complex Accounts payable and ideally query management for high value multicurrency invoices
  • Be able to work well within a team
  • Have experience using Excel and Accounting systems
  • Relevant experience in similar roles
  • Locally based to Milton Keynes
