Reed Finance is delighted to be working in partnership with a valued client in the charitable sector, who are currently seeking to recruit an experienced & qualified Management Accountant to join their finance function on a full-time and permanent basis.

*Please note that our client aims to hold interviews on Tuesday 20th of March.

The post holder will be responsible to the Assistant Director of Finance and the overall responsibilities will be the preparation and interpretation of monthly management accounts, preparation of budgets and production of annual financial statements for divisions within the Group. The main duties and responsibilities include:

Preparation of monthly management accounts;
Preparation of departmental budgets and forecasts (including income & expenditure accounts, capital projects and cash flow requirements);
Preparation of annual statutory accounts;
Preparation of costing schedules and other financial information for incorporation into tender documents;
Cash flow reporting;
Preparation of reports to funders;
Preparation of capital expenditure and other fixed assets reports;
Maintenance and development of internal controls;
Internal audit work;
Ad hoc analysis and reports of financial information as required;
Assist in the training and supervision of other finance staff as required.

All applicants must meet the following criteria:

A fully qualified Accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA, AAT or equivalent) and preferably with a minimum of two years post qualifying experience. Ideally you will have experience managing/supervising a small team and have strong systems and MS Office experience to include Excel.
