Exact working hours: Starting in September 2018, 25 hours per week flexible to suit requirements worked over 7.30am – 9am and 2.45pm – 6.15pm.

About the Role

Due to expansion planned for September 2018, we are pleased to be able to offer the opportunity to work in our breakfast and after school club which is based in our beautiful school grounds. The Club, known as The Graitney Club, delivers the Statutory Framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage and Childcare Register requirements for up to 50 children aged 4-11 from Crawley Ridge Infant School and Crawley Ridge Junior School, in premises on the junior school site.

We are looking for a reliable, motivated, and enthusiastic senior playworker to join the Senior Leadership Team of The Graitney Club which runs from 7.30am – 9am and from 3pm to 6pm. Your duties will include helping to register the children at the start of each session, preparing healthy snacks, supervising/leading indoor and outdoor play and activities. Together with the Graitney Club Manager you will also be expected to bring fresh, fun ideas to entertain the children in a safe and stimulating environment to make the childcare we provide an enjoyable experience for all children.

The ideal candidate will be working as part of professional and committed team and should therefore have previous experience at a senior level and be qualified to Level 3 Early Years. You will be expected to complete training in safeguarding, food hygiene, first aid and any other qualifications relevant to the role.

Due to limitations of space, we regret that we are not able to provide a childcare place to your own child.
