At Allianz UK, we're passionate about helping our customers and employees move on and up in life and business.
We nurture and invest in talent to ensure that great people build great careers with us. We provide comprehensive training to all of our new employees, providing them with the tools to perform to the best of their ability.
A variety of career opportunities enable our staff to fulfil their potential and we provide an award-winning range of training, recently recognised by Investors in People (IIP) with a Gold level accreditation. Other prestigious industry awards we have won include General Insurer of the Decade at the British Insurance Awards 2014.
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Trainee Underwriter to join our highly profitable and expanding Small Business Commercial Insurance Team, based in Maidstone, where our aim is to build and maintain strong broker relationships. If you are successful in securing the role, you will first learn to underwrite Allianz products and develop your trading and soft skills over the course of an 8 week training programme. After this time, your development will then continue at your own pace with further specialist training that will help you to progress; giving you the authority to handle more complex work and make wider trading decisions. If you choose to, you may attend our CII accredited Underwriting Academy.
