Countrywide are currently recruiting for a Sales Support Consultant to join our fast paced financial servicesteam in Milton Keynes. The successful candidate will ideally have a background in a telephone based customer service role and have strong administration experience.

This is a part time positionrequiring you to work every Saturday between 9:30 and 2:30. The ideal working pattern for the rest of the week will be over 4 days between 12pm and 6pm but there is some flexibility on this.

Key Responsibilities;

Providing first line support for all incoming telephone enquiries
Assessing and advisingonmortgage enquiries
Identifying trends on enquiriesto enable the Mortgage Product Team to identify any gaps in our product provision
Ensuring up to date knowledge of working practices, lender requirements and sales process/operational procedures
Assessing and responding to requests to unlock POS where appropriate, by reference to internal guidelines
Responsible for the provision of all waiver codes when requested by accurately assessing needs
Responding to queries received from the sales force, including understanding of the CRM database

Knowledge & Experience;

Educated to GCSE standard (minimum of four at Grade C or above) including English and Maths
Previous administration experience
Previous office experience
Previous Mortgage/financial services experience would be ideal
Flexible approach to working hours


Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Good telephone manner
Strong IT skills including all MS Office packages
Ability to cope under pressure and work towards tight deadlines
Good organisation skills
Ability to work well as part of a team
Good levels of accuracy and attention to detail
Able to prioritise and use own initiative
Able to empathise with all parties
