Currently recruiting a Finance Manager (Logistics) position I am currently recruiting for a multi national logistics provider based in Bedfordshire.

As Finance Manager (Logistics) your responsibilities would include:

  • Business partner with warehouse and transport operations to take ownership for key open book contract remits and P/L responsibility
  • To manage all financial aspects of open book contract
  • To capture all cost relating to contract to ensure revenue is accurate
  • To work alongside client to construct and track contract budget
  • Drive culture of continuous improvement and take ownership of the standalone P/L and results
  • To work closely with operations and General manager to analyse and track any cost saving initiatives
  • To ensure all internal stakeholders remain on contracted budget (up to CFO and Operations Director level)
  • To provide all KPI reporting from both operational and financial to client
  • Project involvement from the onset
  • To manage month end accounting for specific client as stand-alone P&L
  • To present all results to internal stakeholders

Profile of candidate:

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with 2-3 years PQE in a multinational environment. *can be qualified by experience.
  • Results oriented with excellent attention to detail
  • Experience within fast paced logistics environments on open and closed book contracts are highly desirable
  • Excellent IT skills (Excel, Powerpoint, Oracle experience preferred)
  • Excellent interpersonal and time management skills
