Due to increased demand, Vetro Education are looking for a number of Primary School teachers specialising in Foundation Phase and KS2 teaching to work in Newport and the surrounding area.

Location: Newport

Pay rate: £90.00 - £120.00 per day

Hours: Flexible

Responsibilities and Duties


Planning lessons

Teaching a variety of subjects according to the curriculum

Marking and assessment

Leading and assisting a class in the Foundation Phase

Using class resources effectively

Monitoring the development of individual students

Assessing skills and knowledge through tests and assignments

Communicating with parents, the LEA and administrative staff Contributing to school events

Qualifications and Skills

Entry Criteria:

It is essential to have Qualified Teaching Status (QTS) if you plan to work at an LEA school.

There are three main ways of gaining QTS:

Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)

Graduate Teacher Programme (GTP)

School Centred Initial Teacher Training (SCITT)

You must hold a current DBS certificate and be registered with the EWC
