Page Personnel are working in partnership with a leading UK energy services organisation to recruit for a purchase ledger clerk on a temporary to permanent basis. This position will be based in head offices in Warrington working with an accountancy team of 10 supporting with a busy ledger. You will be immediately available to start.

As the purchase ledger clerk you will be reporting into the Purchase Ledger Manager and helping out with the following duties:

  • Full process purchase ledger
  • Matching PO's to purchase invoices
  • Payment runs
  • Building excellent relationships at all times
  • Statement reconciliations
  • Direct Debit payments
  • Managing queries and resolving


The successful purchase ledger clerk MUST have the following:

  • Strong experience with purchase ledger and ledger management
  • Ability to work autonomously and within a team
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Effective time management and organisational skills
  • Ability to work professionally at all times
  • Ability to perform and contribute constructively in a dynamic team environment

Job Offer

  • Competitive salary of £20,000 - £21,000 per annum
