Our Client Based in Solihull are looking for a new Conveyancing Legal Secretary to join their team on a Fixed term Contract.

To prepare correspondence and documents through audio typing, dictation and word processing using the firm’s case management system.
To administer filing
Opening, closing and retrieval of client files
To prepare mail and enclosures for dispatch
To make appointments, arrange meetings and to maintain an up to date diary for his/her principal
To arrange meeting and conference rooms as necessary
To provide support to other secretaries when required to do so
To carry out additional tasks as and when required
To ensure the confidentiality of all the firm’s and client’s documentation and information

You must have:
Previous experience as a legal secretary within a busy conveyancing department.
Strong secretarial skills including experience of audio typing
Ability to prepare case documents
IT literate – experience of case management systems, Microsoft Outlook and internet applications
Excellent customer facing and communication skills
Ability to accept responsibility and display a supportive ‘can do’ attitude
Ability to problem solve
Ability to work to deadlines under pressure
Accuracy and attention to detail
Discretion for dealing with sensitive or confidential information
Excellent time management, organisation and prioritisation skills
Ability to offer adaptability and flexibility in the working environment
Ability to work as part of a small team and build effective relationships with colleagues in the wider business.
