Payroll Manager- £30,000-35,000

We are recruiting for a well-established, global and innovative company based in Basildon who are recruiting for a Payroll Manager to join their established team. My client offers study support.

The role will be responsible for managing the UK Payroll Assistant, as well as an offshore payroll team.

Key Responsibilities as follows:

• Daily management of the pay roll systems
• Manage, support and develop the Payroll assistant
• Supporting Month and Quarter end
• Reconciliations for key control accounts
• Overseeing the expense claim process and Credit card scheme
• Assisting with Internal and External Audit

• Key Requirements for the role:

• Payroll management experience is essential
• Great communication and analytical skills
• Strong technical knowledge of procurement principles and procedures
• Confident, personable character who is able to work together to meet deadlines
• Strong results and process improvements in a fast paced environment
• Customer focused with the ability to operate within standards of conduct.
• Relevant accounting qualifications are desirable
