Position: Sheltered Housing Co-ordinator
Location: Gedling Borough Nottingham
Job Type: Part Time, Permanent
Hours: 18 hours per week, 5 days per week (afternoons)
Salary: £18,297 - £20,787 per annum pro rota; dependent on experience (pay award pending)

About the role:

They are looking for a Sheltered Housing Coordinator to join their team providing an intensive housing management service to tenants living in their sheltered housing. This will include assessing security, health & safety checks, referrals for adaptations, assessing housing needs, tenancy management including tenancy sign ups.

About you:

You will possess a passion for making a difference and have relevant housing and / or support experience as well as experience of working with older / vulnerable people. You will be able to provide advice and guidance on housing related issues including welfare benefits and be adept at inter-agency working. You must also be flexible and able to travel between accommodation locations.

The post holder will be required to work some weekends on a rota basis and be part of the Out of Hours rota every 12 weeks

You may have experience of the following: Supported Housing Officer, Housing Officer, Supported Housing, Project Worker, Property Management, Property Manager, Neighbourhood Housing Officer etc.
