Senior PHP Developer - The Role:

  • Working with other senior web developer to manage and lead our in-house development team
  • Applying your expertise to deliver new or improved technical solutions that meet the needs of our clients and their target audiences
  • Website development using a variety of CMS’s and frameworks
  • Extension / plugin development to deliver bespoke functionality
  • Combining your efforts with those of colleagues from across the agency to ensure that digital projects are delivered on time, on budget and to very high standard
  • Conducting code reviews with team members to evaluate code against our internal style guides as well as external best practices, and performance and security standards

Senior PHP Developer - Required Skills / Experience:

You should be highly adept in the use of PHP (5.6 and >7.0), JS (ES5/6 - we use Gulp + Babel), HTML5 and CSS3, with extensive experience of building websites using open-source content management systems. WordPress is a must but, ideally, your portfolio will also include at least one Drupal site. You should also be highly proficient in OOP programming, along with the understanding of its use-cases.
