A permanent Credit Controller is being recruited for a brilliant business based in Chester.

Client Details

A fast-growing business with a turnover of around £85m, they are recruiting for a Credit Controller to join their well-established team in what will be an exciting and challenging role.


The Credit Controller position, reporting to the Credit Manager, your day to day duties include:

  • Maximise cash collection and to minimise debt
  • Managing credit issues and dealing with problem accounts quickly and effectively
  • Managing bad debt situations ensuring any potential bad debt situations are addressed and appropriate action taken
  • Liaising with sales team to monitor issues and review problem accounts in a commercial manner
  • Approving credit limits
  • Cash allocation
  • Monitoring payment agreements, taking accountability for your own part of the ledger
  • Reviewing bad debts with Credit Manager and relevant sales team
  • Supervision of further debt recovery / litigation


The successful candidate for the Credit Controller must have the following experience:

  • Good credit control experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Strong telephone manner
  • Flexible and a good team player

Job Offer
