Right Link Resourcing are currently recruiting for an Accounts Manager to join a well-known contractor based in Ely. They require the successful candidate to join on a full-time basis with understanding of book keeping, VAT returns, working knowledge of Sage along with many other skills and experience to bring to this role.

Main duties include but not limited to:
• Managing quotations, updating sales orders and check credit rating on Experian.
• Setting up new sales customer accounts on Sage.
• Resolving statement queries and verify ledgers.
• Setting up new supplier accounts and agree trade terms.
• Analysing costs and ensure correct coding for nominal ledger.
• Maintaining all bank accounts, making customer refunds and supplier payments.
• Preparing and submitting VAT returns.
• Year-end draft accounts and schedules, reconciling all control accounts for submission to accountant.
• Processing Sage payroll, making monthly payments to HMRC for PAYE and NIC, Child benefit system.
• Setting up new employees, issue P45 for leavers, preparing payroll year end and staff’s P60’s.
• Maintain Sage 50 software, daily backups and ensure clean data and rectify any errors.
• Ensure dormat company accounts are submitted on all companies.
• All vehicle administration including, Fleet maintenance, insurances, tax and MOT’s.
• Keep up to date where possible with payroll, taxation, data protection, Health and Safety.

Skills & Experience:
• 3 -5 years within Accounts Manager role.
• Working knowledge of Sage 50.
• Basic understanding of Book keeping, Schedules and BANK.
