Our client is one of the world's leading automotive suppliers supplying a wide range of products including exhaust and engine cooling modules. Due to expansion, they now require an experienced UK Maintenance Manager to join their team.

The client are currently in the process of enhancing their maintenance programme worldwide. This will involve upskilling and arranging training in preventative maintenance, improving maintenance management including root cause analysis and solid countermeasure plans to improve general OEE.
The successful candidate will play a lead role in the introduction of this programme, working closely with global maintenance teams, carrying out regular audits and benchmarking individual sites to formulate and communicate improvement and recovery plans. The position will also involve recruitment, development of Apprentice Maintenance Technicians, monitoring both practical skills and academic qualifications.
Primary Responsibilities:
? Organising specialised Maintenance Management training
? Standardisation of Maintenance Management Diagnostic (MMD) audit
? Lead introduction of “Best Practise” activities (occasional travel within Europe/Russia/Japan)
? Undergo training to become European MMD (Maintenance Management Diagnostics) Expert
? Deploy Global standardisation and best practise
? Support new product launch, ensuring correct maintenance systems are in place

? Minimum HNC (BEng preferred) in an Engineering discipline
? Strong project management skills
? Good communication and presentation skills
? Confidence to lead high level meetings, and work with staff at all levels
? Motivated and have vision

Successful candidates will benefit from on-the-job training within a fast paced automotive environment.
Working a day’s role (8:00 – 16:30) our client are offering a very competitive salary of up to £52,000 DOE with benefits including 33 days holiday, cash draw scheme (top prize up to 8k) every quarter, reduced price gym membership.
