Our client is an International Banking with a wide range of banking products and financial services to corporate and retail customers through a variety of delivery channels and through its group companies they are looking to hire a Sales Support Asset Finance to join their team;

Job Purpose:

* Support the Bank’s new asset finance and leasing business, dealing with partner institutions, banks and equipment manufacturers (‘OEM’s’)
* Liaising with partners on a day to day basis to process new business deals introduced to the Bank and manage these deals through to payout stage
* Adherence to the Bank’s conduct risk, compliance policies and standard operating procedures
* Working with the Senior Manager to meet partner processing time targets and suggest improvements to streamline deal process where necessary

Area of Responsibility:

* Prepare asset finance transactions sourced from the Bank’s existing partner financial institutions, prepare the document pack and discuss with the Senior Manager, Asset Finance.
* A basic knowledge of asset finance documentation (hire purchase, lease, loan) and customer’s audited financial statements would be beneficial
* Communicate effectively with departments and partners of the Bank as to deal status and work closely on the various requirements to process deals with maximum time efficiency
* Prepare credit submissions to risk and follow through to secure a risk decision
* Manage and monitor reports and updates on the Bank’s existing deals, both internally and with partners
* Responsibility for preparation of deals and all required documentation for internal operations, treasury, accounting and back office, in order to disburse payment to partners on agreed committed timeframes
* Ensuring compliance with all applicable policies, rules and regulations including specifically Conduct Risk, AML & KYC requirements and other policies and procedures of the Bank
* A positive outlook and willingness to learn will be advantageous, as the role is with a new department, which is expected to grow significantly over the next 12-24 months

Interdepartmental and Operating Framework:

* Interaction with Bank’s Team members, Customer Service Officers, Branch Managers, Marketing, Product, Compliance, Operations, IT, Operations Risk, Finance, etc.

Job Requirements / Specification:

Qualifications Graduate

* Work Experience No of Years Industry Area of work
* As required for the job role Preferably from Asset Finance industry, but not essential Administration/ sales support

Key Skills Required:

* Functional Skills

* Knowledge of asset finance documentation a bonus
* Effective management of internal and external stakeholders
* Basic knowledge of a business’ financial statements (balance sheet/P&L/cash flow)
* MIS preparation, tracking and reporting
