Reporting in to the Operations Manager, and working closely with our team, you will be responsible for the day to day running of a large operational warehouse hub.

A major part of your role will be to focus on team management ensuring adequate resources are available to fulfil project commitments, as well as making strategic managerial decisions where required. Working within the warehouse, you will be liaising with the production, operations and events teams, where you will take the lead role within the warehouse including mentoring and managing the warehouse team.

Your responsibilities:
• Liaising with the Operations Manager to design and manage the warehouse space enabling it to accommodate additional equipment
• Oversee the warehouse staff including resource scheduling
• Liaising with the production team to ensure all equipment is ready for each event
• The check-in and check-out of equipment using rental software
• Managing stock control and inventory
• Overseeing and hands-on preparation and testing of all AV and associated equipment
• Maintenance of equipment including PAT testing and LOLER Inspections
• Inputting and maintain records of testing; PAT, LOLER & PUWER
• Manage all storage space and areas
• Ensuring that the Hub’s vehicle fleet remains in exceptional operating condition
• Ensuring best Health and Safety practices are promoted within the team
• Liaising and negotiating with third party suppliers for additional equipment
• Sourcing new and innovative technical kit
• Keeping abreast of industry trends and developments

You will have:
• At least 5 years of experience in an operational role within the Live Event’s Industry
• The ability to think strategically with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience at collaborating with creative agencies, event teams, venues and production suppliers
• A strong desire to mentor and coach as well as evaluate, grow and develop talent in the organisation
• Experience in development and execution of annual and long-term strategic plans
• A proven track record of fostering employee engagement and managing change
• The ability to travel with valid passport & driving licence

• Non-Standard working hours, including evenings and weekends
• Working away from home, nationally and internationally
• Working to strict timelines in often high pressured and stressful environments
• Working at height may be required
