Business Development Manager (Nationwide Telemarketing Company)

£23,000 - £25,000 basic DOE (+ £2k Company Car Allowance and 15pence per mile or 45pence per mile)

OTE approx £12,000 (uncapped)

Brook Street is excited to present an opportunity to work with a leading B2B Marketing company who have won awards for their telemarketing and lead generation campaigns. My client is looking for driven and dedicated people who want to join the right company at the right time.

Our client are upsizing their offices for the third time in a year, which demonstrates their rapid growth and they are now looking for a self-motivated and experienced Business Development Manager / Field Sales Manager to help drive the business forward and getting new targets on board. We are looking for proven sales people who are able to strike up a conversation with high-level key decision makers at a variety of businesses to create validated and genuine business opportunities and to nurture relationships with key individuals. Your role will require you to prospect and visit with potential clients nationwide to arrange and secure contracts.

You will be a real people person, friendly and persuasive, who is able to build rapport whilst being able to understand the customer’s requirements in a short time and present solutions that meet their needs. You will be confident in generating your own leads, prospecting for business through various means such as telesales and you will be experienced in B2B Field Sales and Business Development specifically from a services background. You will be experienced in presenting and putting together proposals as well as meeting with key decision makers and closing deals. In return you will be offered a solid base salary of circa £25,000 DOE as well as either a company car allowance of £2k and a fuel allowance of 15p per mile OR a fuel allowance of 45p per mile. You will receive 10% of all new business and 5% on business renewals, commission per new client can typically be between £600 and £1000. Ideally you will get one new client a month so OTE per year would be around £12,000 + per year (although this is uncapped). You will be given great career and progression opportunities as well as 20 days holiday + bank holidays. Working hours are Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm.

Responsibilities will include:

* Define a sales strategy: sectors to be targeted
* Research the market & identify potential leads via various sources available
* Answer requests from clients regarding suitable services for needs, arrange visits to present a proposal, provide quotations and follow up
* Make cold calls to introduce the company & obtain information on prospects, arrange visits as necessary.
* Report to Director on regular basis (monthly sales meeting) & achieve targets
* Ask pertinent questions to understand the customer’s requirements and needs
* Try to improve sales by keeping in touch with customers, informing on services, etc…
* Objection handling
* To be flexible and adaptable during client calls, empathise and provide a great client experience
* Go the “extra mile” to meet targets
* Account management of current clients

This is a permanent full-time field sales position with a start at the beginning of March. This would suit someone who has worked previously in a B2B Field Sales role for at least 3 years, who is extremely ambitious and who has a passion for sales and providing an excellent client experience.
