Manufacturing Engineer (Process Improvements/Aerospace)

£37,000 - £45,000 + Pension + Benefits

Greenford, London

Manufacturing Engineer required for a global leader working in multiple industries such as; Security & Cyber, Defence, Aerospace, Transport, Nuclear, Communications and Energy. The company are continually expanding with a secure market reach, having an 8.2% increase in revenue from their previous year which has not been affected by Brexit fears.

The role would suit a Manufacturing Engineer with a HND or similar qualification in engineering, with previous experience within the aerospace industry. Experience within manufacturing such as; electromechanical products, mechanical assemblies, PCB or similar would also be highly desirable.

The Manufacturing Engineer role will have a primary focus to deliver cost savings through the implementation of process improvements to boost efficiencies across both their business and within the supply chain. You will work alongside several other Manufacturing Engineers with occasional travel across the UK and may receive the opportunity for international travel.

Manufacturing Engineer Role:
- Create, Review and Maintain Manufacturing documentation
- Assure product and process quality and control
- Evaluate existing and introduce new Manufacturing processes
- Design and manage the Manufacturing of tooling
- Make improvements to the Manufacturing efficiency through various means
- Manufacturing Engineering support to product and processes or anywhere else needed
- Manufacturing Engineering support to FRACAS

Ideal Manufacturing Engineer:
- HND/HNC or similar qualification in Engineering
- Knowledge of manufacturing tools such as; Lean Techniques, Six Sigma, Black Belt, etc
- Working knowledge of IFS is advantageous
- Knowledge of Manufacturing methods in; PCB, Electromechanical Products, Mechanical Assemblies or Aerospace Design is highly desirable
- Proactive to research new Manufacturing Processes/methods
- PC literate and MS Office capable

* Must have aerospace or high level PCB related experience *
* Must be able to obtain security clearance - UK resident for 5 years' minimum *
