Vision for Education are seeking to recruit a level 2 teaching assistant to work in a vibrant inclusive two form entry primary school located in Moston. This 2 form entry school are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated colleague to join our fantastic school working directly alongside the class teacher and supporting all staff to further the learning of our children. You will be based in a Key Stage 1 setting.

The successful teaching assistant will be required for a long-term placement from September. Key Stage 1 consists of four teachers and two experienced teaching assistants who work as one team to provide the best possible learning experience for their pupils. This will involve supporting child in class, in small groups, in 1-1 situations and supporting children who may have special or additional needs.. The successful candidate will:

* Be an outstanding teaching assistant or on the path to becoming one

* Have high expectations of children’s achievement and behaviour

* Have the ability to work with individual and small groups of children

* Share the ethos and values of the school community

* Have experience in an KS1 setting

* Be able to work as part of a team and foster positive relationships with staff, pupils, parents and governors.

To be considered for this position you must:

* Have experience working within a primary education setting
* Have a relevant teaching assistant qualification
* Have a passion for working with children
