One of the UK’s leading machine tool service and repairs companies is now urgently seeking an experienced Laser Service Machine Tool Engineer. You will be joining a business who are renowned nationwide within the leading Aerospace, Automotive and Metal companies for their expert ability to recondition and retrofit a wide range of machinery.

To be considered for this position you must have experience with Laser Cutting Machines – Bystronic, Trumpf, LVD or Amada controls for example.

It is expected that you will also:

? Be Multiskilled – we are flexible for electrical OR mechanical bias - with ideally a relevant Engineering Apprenticeship

? Have experience of a Field Based Role

? Be flexible with working hours

Main Duties:

? Service and Repairs of complex laser cutting machines

? Fault Finding of Control Systems – i.e. Fanuc, Siemens, Mazak, Heidenhain

? Installations, commissioning and refurbishment of machines

? Training customer staff

In return you can expect a basic salary of £28-40k plus paid overtime, bonus, car, phone, laptop and a hotel/fuel card to cover expenses and an anticipated OTE of c£50k

This is a home based role covering the Greater Midlands and the North of England with candidates living ideally within and around the following locations: Birmingham, Manchester, Liverpool, Hull, Leicester, Leeds, York, Nottingham or Sheffield.

Nights away from home will be minimal, however will be required on occasion. This is an exciting time to join a recognised and respected service and repair company,that continues to expand year on year.

This position would suit a Field Service Engineer who has solid knowledge of Laser cutting machines from leading manufacturers who is keen to remain Field based but have minimal nights away from home.
