The Client

An exciting opportunity to join a growing established company who work within the electrical contracting sector in the oil & gas industry. Our client prides their selves on having an excellent reputation with their clients, which they have established over the years and generate a substantial amount of repeat business.

The Role

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for generating new opportunities to provide to their technical department with new contract opportunities, appointments and potential clients.

- Work to and exceed targets.

- Identify and contact new clients.

- Monitor tender platforms.

- Work with technical department to target new opportunities.

- Prepare and review regular sales reports.

The Candidate

- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).

- Excellent time management, although flexible working hours.

- Positive attitude and ability to work under pressure.

- Microsoft application knowledge.

- Ability to understand market opportunities and develop sales strategy.

- Ability develop existing client relationships and develop new client relationships.

- To use web based media to generate contact with new clients and enhance company profile.

- To approach and develop relationships with supply chain within leading FM and M&E contractors.

- To implement effective commercial sales development processes and tools.

- Focus on the expansion of the company for onshore electrical contracting.

- Clean driving license (preferable, not essential).

- 5 years plus industry experience.
