Electrical Wireman/Assembler

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a highly experienced, proficient, technical, Mechanical Electrical Wire man/Assembler to join our client on a Permanent basis starting ASAP who is looking to become an industry expert, where you will build a career and progress within a rapidly growing company. This position will be subject to a 6 months’ probation period.

Our client, based on the Medway City Estate in Rochester, Kent is an award winning fin tech start-up and is now in an exciting and rapid paced stage of growth. They are a world leader in the design and manufacture of automated foreign exchange kiosks. Their kiosks can accept a vast amount of different currencies including currencies which are now out of circulation and turn these into pounds, euros or US dollars. They specialise in foreign exchange solutions, operating throughout London at over 17 sites and hope to increase their market capacity and have over 200 sites within the next 2 years. Due to continuous expansion we are looking for a new Electrical Wire man/Assembler to join our expert team.

Do you have the 17th edition, have you got experience with low voltage systems, wiring looms and worked in an assembly environment?

We are looking for a professional and proactive individual with a good team working ethos to join their Electrical Maintenance & Mechanical Assembler team. We seek an individual who is a well organised, flexible, experienced and highly motivated who has Electrical Maintenance & Mechanical Assembler experience.

* 17th Edition Qualification
* Worked on Low Voltage Systems/Wiring Looms
* Looking for excellent training to become an industry expert

This is the ideal opportunity for an aspiring wire man/assembler who has will be carrying out assembly and maintenance on their specialist equipment, where you will receive full training.

This role would ideally suit someone who has the 17th edition qualification, who has worked in a manufacturing environment and has a working knowledge of low voltage systems and wiring looms.

The Role:

As part of the team you will be building and testing Fourex Kiosks, going out into the field. Duties include undertaking light commercial work, involving the assembly and wiring of the new kiosks. It would also be extremely beneficial if you had IT/data /computing experience. You must have experience in Electro mechanical Assembly, electrical knowledge, putting electrical components together, have experience with mechanical moving parts, taking electrical things apart & putting them back together again.

To build and test specialist Electrical Equipment
Maintain/repair specialist Electrical Machinery
Full training and progression opportunities
At least 5+ years' experience
Experience with low voltage systems
Proximity to the factory in Kent is essential
The necessary qualifications/safety requirements to work on low and medium voltage
Must be able to work at night or weekends, when required, for machine deployments & maintenance
Must be mechanically apt to fit electronic equipment into a mechanical kiosk
Must be able to work alone without supervision
Required to read electrical schematics and apply small innovations to existing projects
TFL experience would be beneficial
Self-motivated, flexible and innovative
Clean driving licence & own transport

We will offer a competitive salary £25,000 - £30,000 + Excellent Benefits to the right candidate and 28 days annual leave.

Hours are Monday to Friday 7am - 4pm - Night installs maybe required to be carried out so you must be flexible. If this is the case you would have the following day off work.
