Head of Curriculum Management

Location: Brighton - Moulsecoomb

Salary: £42,418 to £49,149 per annum

The university’s Quality and Standards division sits within Academic Services providing leadership, advice and guidance and support to the university and its schools in developing and implementing the university’s Quality Assurance and Enhancement (QAE) framework. The management team, led by the Senior Assistant Registrar (QAE), has two vacancies providing opportunities to help shape the delivery of the service as the QAE landscape changes nationally and institutionally.

As Head of Curriculum Management you will be responsible for developing and implementing robust and responsive curriculum approval and review processes and for the university’s core curriculum records and data. This post provides an opportunity to reshape the service delivery in this area.

You will have considerable knowledge and experience of developing and implementing quality assurance practices, academic policy and regulatory frameworks in higher education and of leading a proactive and effective service area.

Leading a small team, within a wider department, you will work across the university at all levels, be able to communicate complex information, demonstrate influencing and negotiating skills and ensure relevant systems and processes meet the needs of all users.
