Job Title: Accounts Assistant

Job Type: Permanent, full-time

Salary: £25,000 – plus study package

Location: Southend, Essex

PB Recruitment are supporting an independent, family-owned accountancy practice based in Southend who are actively recruiting for an Accounts Assistant on a permanent, full-time basis to work in their accounts team of 4.

For you to be successful you will have an excellent working knowledge of bookkeeping and have a minimum of 18 months working in an accountancy practice, preparing accounts for sole traders and limited companies. If you’re AAT qualified, even better!

Ideally, you have used or have Sage/ Xero and QuickBooks software knowledge, or be able to deal with manual accounting records supplied by their Clients using their accounts production software. Excellent Microsoft office experience is essential as well as an ability to easily adapt to change. If you are successful, you will be joining a highly experienced team of professionals, along with being offered an attractive salary this is also an excellent opportunity offering longevity.
