A new and exciting opportunity for the position of Clinical Specialist in Peripheral Vascular has arisen.

The successful candidate will promote the Bard peripheral vascular products through clinical support and education across the UK.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing a thorough understanding of Bard peripheral vascular products and indications, with a particular focus on AV access, in order to fully support and develop the UK business.

Ideally the candidate will be based in the central south region of the country to cover key accounts surrounding this area. There is the expectation that other areas of the UK will need to be covered as required.


- Degree level in relevant profession


- Clinical background ideally in the Operating Theatre or Interventional Radiology Lab.
- Current credentialing and/or certification in respective clinical discipline
- Advanced knowledge of vascular access management, vascular surgery, and endovascular medicine preferred
- Evidence of ability to develop strong technical knowledge of peripheral vascular products, related procedures and indications


- Extensive field support of targeted accounts.
- Educate and train on all products to clinicians, nurses and other members of the multi-disciplinary team.
- Contribute high quality information from all accounts and set up new accounts.
- Build strong relationships with key users and influencers throughout the territory.
- Develop a high level of understanding of our products and applications.
- Observes and reports market trends.
- Support launch of new products.
- Provide training updates and clinical support for the sales force.

- Liaise and work with personnel at all levels, both internally and externally.

- Manages priorities with minimal supervision.
- Have a broad understanding of the hospital NHS and Private sector environments.
- Ideally, experience achieved through previous commercial and/or clinical roles.
- A car driver able to travel across the UK with overnight stays
