Do you want to work in a Pupil Referral Unit (PRU), Alternative Provision or possibly a SEBD as a
Behaviour Mentor?

***Earn Between £70.00 - £85.00 par day as a Behaviour Mentor!!!
A Behaviour Mentor works on a full-time basis supporting student's behaviour and learning inside and outside of the class, this is primarily a class based position however it's very likely you will end up doing 1:1 withdrawal sessions at some stage in order to maintain the progress of student's behaviour and learning.
The Behaviour Mentor will work with children on a one-to-one basis or in small or large groups, acting as a:

  • Listener;
  • Facilitator for learning;
  • Encourager;
  • Motivator;
  • Role model.

Behaviour mentors work with pupils and students who need help to overcome difficulties that are getting in the way of their learning. Behaviour Mentor work in schools or colleges, supporting young people of all abilities with issues such as:

  • lack of self-confidence, self-esteem or motivation
  • failure to achieve their full potential
  • behavioural or emotional difficulties
  • troubles with relationships, bullying, social skills
  • personal crises such as bereavement or problems at home
  • difficulty settling into school or college
  • poor attendance
